Seiko is short for Seiko Holdings Corporation, a Japanese company famous for watches and focuses on other products including clocks, electronic devices, semiconductors and optical products. Seiko was founded in 1881 and was firstly called K. Hattori & Co., Ltd. It starts manufacturing wall clocks when Seikosha clock supply factory was established.
