ASMC’s history can be traced back to 1989 when "US Warehouse", selling army surplus and fashion as well as Western/Cowboy and American Football products, was co-founded by Heinz Borkhard and his wife. The first growth was beneficial from mail order business Heinz cooperated with Franck Douville from U.S.M.C. Paris; and it was followed by successive acquisitions. Due to the different views within the business, Heinz Borkhard parted away and changed its trademark into ASMC in 2000. It was not until 2009 when ASMC becomes the adventure company to offer clothing, gear, tools for camping, travels and adventures.
